Common Issues
Extension Not Working
- Refresh the page: After installing, refresh your Strava dashboard
- Check permissions: Ensure the extension has permission to access strava.com
- Check browser console: Open developer tools (F12) to see if there are any errors
- Reinstall: Try removing and reinstalling the extension
Groups Not Saving
- Check if you have "Clear cookies and site data when you close the browser" enabled
- Your groups are stored in browser local storage
- Try exporting your data as a backup using the Export feature
Performance Issues
- The extension includes rate limiting to prevent performance issues
- Check the browser console (F12) for performance warnings
- Try reducing the number of athletes in groups
- Clear your selection and start fresh

Which browsers are supported?
Athlete Filters works on Firefox and Chrome (and Chromium-based browsers like Edge, Brave, etc.).
Can I use this on mobile?
Currently, the extension only works on desktop browsers. Mobile browser extensions have limited support.
Will this affect my Strava account?
No. The extension only reads publicly visible information from Strava pages you visit. It cannot modify your profile, post activities, or access private data.
Can I back up my groups?
Yes! Use the "Export Data" feature in the extension panel to download your groups as a JSON file. You can import this file later to restore your data.
